Welcome to Miyazono no Oyado
Itsuki village is located in the southern area of Kumamoto Prefecture, surrounded by more than 1,000m high mountains, in deeply in the central Kyushu, with rich nature of four seasons, attractive tradition, cultures and warm hospitality.
"Miyazono no Oyado", means a guesthouse in Miyazono area, is a comfortable and reasonable guesthouse with traditional style. We renovated more than 100 years-old house to offer comfortable accommodation for the guests from the city or abroad and opened in March 2011.
Adults are 2,000 yen and children are 1,000 yen per night. You can enjoy the clear streams of the river Kawabe, a fresh air, rich nature, simple and traditional Japanese lifestyle here.
*Acutually we don't serve any food but can arrange to experience local cooking or food if needed.
Facilities & Meals
"Miyazono no Oyado" offers 3 Tatami rooms, 2 wooden rooms, 7 pairs of bedding, a kitchen with basic cookware and tableware, a toilet, a bath with firewood (Onsen is also available in 10 minites by car far from here) etc.
Basically Oyado doesn't offer any meals. We highly recommend you to cook meals by yourself or if any, you can order local meals from local restaurants and shops to Oyado in advance. >See in detail
Also You can bring any sleeping bag or food into the guest house. The local food, like Itsuki Tofu, Age Dofu (fried Tofu), Yamauni Dofu (Local Tofu pickled in Miso), Yamame fish (landloched salmon), fresh vegatables, Kuma Shochu (shochu made from rice) etc, at the local shop in the Itsuki village.

2. The manager will notice you the recepit your reservation by Fax or Telephone. By notive from manager, your reservation will be completed.
